RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
1. Approve a non-financial Interconnection Security Agreement with the United States Forest Service Law Enforcement and Investigations to provide network interconnectivity for the period of January 24, 2023, through January 23, 2028.
2. Direct the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors to maintain confidentiality of the Interconnection Security Agreement as designated by the United States Forest Service Law Enforcement and Investigations security classification.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The Innovation and Technology Department (ITD) provides Wide Area Network (WAN) connectivity to the County's telecommunication network for multiple outside agencies for the purpose of accessing computer information systems that are managed by the County. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) uses the United States (US) Forest Service Law Enforcement and Investigations (USFS) network to receive their WAN connection from ITD. BLM's WAN connection from ITD is required for the purpose of providing Federal Interagency Communications Center (FICC) dispatchers' access to the California Law Enforcement Telecommunications system (CLETS), which access is provided by the San Bern...
