RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
1. Approve the plans and specifications for the Park Drive and Other Roads Project in the Wrightwood area, as signed and sealed by a registered civil engineer.
2. Authorize the Director of the Department of Public Works to advertise the Park Drive and Other Roads Project in the Wrightwood area for formal bids.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The Park Drive and Other Roads Project in the Wrightwood Area (Project) will be funded with Senate Bill 1 (SB1) Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Account (RMRA) funds. Sufficient appropriation and revenue are included in the Department of Public Works (Department) 2022-23 Road Operations budget (66500002000 34H15113) and will be included in future recommended budgets.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The Project involves approximately 0.35 miles of pavement rehabilitation and reconstruction on Park Drive, pavement rehabilitation on Apple Avenue and Evergreen Road, constructing new curb ramps in accordance with current design standards and pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines, constructing sidewalks, curb and gutters at various locations and constructing a new concrete drainage swale.
