COUNTY AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER GOALS & OBJECTIVES
Provide for the Safety, Health and Social Service Needs of County Residents.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost) as the cost of $12,000,000 is funded by State Medi-Cal, Federal Medicare, private insurances, and other departmental revenue fund. Adequate appropriation and revenue have been included in the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) 2022-23 budget and will be included in the 2023-24 recommended budget.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
This amendment will allow ARMC additional time to complete the current Request for Proposals (RFP) ARMC123-ARMC-4823 for pharmacy services. The additional time will ensure there is no disruption to the current pharmacy staffing services provided by CPS Solutions, LLC (CPS). Continuing use of CPS will provide pharmacy services at ARMC's main hospital, Family Health Centers, and County jails. The pharmacy services provided include distribution to inpatients, emergency room patients, and outpatients from County Sheriff's and Probation Departments. CPS will also continue to provide a licensed pharmacist to serve as the Director of the Department of Pharmacy at ARMC.
