RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
1. Approve the submission of an application to the State of California Department of Parks and Recreation, Division of Boating and Waterways, Boating Safety and Enforcement Financial Aid Program, in the amount of $1,042,724, for patrol operations at the Colorado River, for the period of July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025.
2. Authorize the Chair of the Board of Supervisors to sign the application to the State of California Department of Parks and Recreation, Division of Boating and Waterways, Boating Safety and Enforcement Financial Aid Program, in the amount of $1,042,724, for patrol operations at the Colorado River, for the period of July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025.
3. Adopt Resolution, as required by the State of California Department of Parks and Recreation, Division of Boating and Waterways, authorizing the Sheriff/Coroner/Public Administrator to apply for funding and participate in the Boating Safety and Enforcement Financial Aid Program for patrol operations at the Colorado River, for the period of July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025.
