RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
1. Accept a grant award (State Award No. 1936BASE00/1936FSIE00) from the California Department of Public Health, Tuberculosis Control Branch, in the amount of $385,003, for continued support of tuberculosis prevention and control activities, for the grant period of July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020.
2. Designate the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors, the Chief Executive Officer, or the Director of the Department of Public Health to execute any subsequent non-substantive grant award amendments in relation to the grant award (State Award No. 1936BASE00/1936FSIE00) on behalf of the County, subject to review by County Counsel.
3. Direct the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors, the Chief Executive Officer, or the Director of the Department of Public Health to transmit all documents and amendments in relation to this grant award to the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors within 30 days of execution.

This item does not impact Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The California Department of Public Health (CDPH), Tuberculosis (TB) Control Branch does not require a match for this grant award. The total grant award of $385,003 consists of a base award ($363,608) and food, shelter, incentives, and enablers (FSIE) allocation ($21,395) and is approximately 55% federal and 45% state funded.
