RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
1. Approve Amendment No. 2 to Contract No. 15-660 with Level 3 Communications, LLC, a subsidiary of CenturyLink, to continue to provide Internet access services at the County's primary site in San Bernardino, with no change to the total not-to-exceed amount of $681,444, exercising the second of two one-year extensions for the total contract period of September 1, 2015, through August 31, 2020.
2. Approve Amendment No. 2 to Contract No. 15-661 with CenturyLink to continue to provide Internet access services at the County's back-up site in Hesperia, with no change to the total not-to-exceed amount of $1,295,676, exercising the second of two one-year extensions for the total contract period of September 1, 2015, to August 31, 2020.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of these amendments will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). Sufficient appropriation is included in the Information Services Department (ISD) Telecommunication Services 2019-20 adopted budget and will be included in future recommended budgets. Operating costs are recovered via service rates and fees approved annually by the Board of Supervisors (Board).
