RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
1. Accept the Children and Families Commission for San Bernardino County grant award of $222,038 for the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center Breathmobile(r) Program.
2. Approve Amendment No. 2 to Revenue Contract No. 17-608, effective July 1, 2019, with the Children and Families Commission for San Bernardino County to increase the revenue contract amount by $222,038, from $444,076 to $666,114, to revise the confidentiality and venue provisions, to approve the amended work plan and budget, and to extend the term an additional year for a new total period of July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2020, for the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center - Breathmobile(r) Program.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of these recommendations will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost) as the grant award of $222,038 provides funding for certain Breathmobile(r) Program services provided to children ages five and under. Expenses for services provided to children over five years of age are funded by State Medi-Cal, Federal Medicare, private insurance, and other departmental revenue. Funding sources may change in the future pending any legislative activity related to the repeal and/or replacement of the Affordable Care Act.
