RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Approve Amendment No. 2 to Revenue Agreement (County Contract 18-29) with the State of California Department of Health Care Services (State Agreement No. 17-94153), effective upon execution of the Amendment by the State of California Department of Health Care Services, for the Substance Use Disorder Prevention and Treatment Block Grant services, updating contract language and increasing the Agreement amount by $244,083, from $31,542,434 to $31,786,517, with no change to the total contract period of July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2020.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
This item does not impact Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The increase of $244,083 to the Revenue Agreement with the State of California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) allows the Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) to be reimbursed by the Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Block Grant (SABG) for Substance Use Disorder (SUD) services provided to eligible clients. Adequate appropriation and revenue have been included in DBH's 2019-20 budget and will be included in future recommended budgets.
