RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
1. Accept the Certified Election Results for the 2019 San Bernardino County Employees' Retirement Association Election held on December 3, 2019.
2. Adopt Resolution declaring the results of one General Member, one Retired Member, and one Alternate Retired Member for the 2019 San Bernardino County Employees' Retirement Association Election.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of additional Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). Appropriation for the minimal staffing required to present the Certified Election Results was included in the Registrar of Voters 2019-20 budget. The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the County and San Bernardino County Employees' Retirement Association (SBCERA) approved March 2, 2010 (Item No. 19), allows for the recovery of costs from SBCERA related to providing election services. Adequate appropriation and revenue have been included in the Registrar of Voters 2019-20 budget.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Declaring the winners of the 2019 SBCERA Election held on December 3, 2019, will enable SBCERA to install their newly elected members of the Board of Retirement when the three-year terms for these offices commence on January 1, 2020.
