RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Approve Amendment No. 2, effective July 1, 2020, to contracts with the following agencies to provide tutoring services on a fee-for-service basis, updating standard contract language, increasing the total aggregate contract amount by $175,000, from $700,000 to $875,000, and exercising the final one-year option to extend the contracts, for the total contract period of July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2021:
1. Jeffrey Ordaz Tutoring Services, Contract No. 16-330
2. One on One Learning, Corp., Contract No. 16-332
3. Professional Tutors of America, Inc., Contract No. 16-334
4. Studentnest, Inc., Contract No. 16-337
5. Thrive Academics, Inc., Contract No. 16-339

FINANCIAL IMPACT
This item does not impact Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The total cost of these services will not exceed $175,000 individually or in the aggregate for 2020-21 and is funded 100% by realignment funds. Adequate appropriation and revenue will be included in the Human Services Administrative Claim 2020-21 recommended budget.
