RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Approve Revenue Agreement with San Bernardino Community College District for a three-year period commencing July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2023, with two one-year or one- two-year options to extend the term, for total maximum revenue of $1,856,925, to provide training courses at the Sheriff/Coroner/Public Administrator's Frank Bland Regional Training Center.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of additional Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). This Agreement provides for revenue in the amount of $3.93 per student-instructional hour, not to exceed 157,500 hours per fiscal year, for total annual revenue not to exceed $618,975, for a total revenue agreement amount of $1,856,925. Revenue in the amount of $600,000 will be included in the Sheriff/Coroner/Public Administrator's (Department) 2020-21 recommended budget. A budget adjustment is not requested at this time but will be included in a future quarterly countywide budget report brought to the Board of Supervisors (Board) for approval, if necessary. This revenue offsets the cost of instructors, supplies and equipment required to provide courses at the Department's Training Academy.
