Approve non-financial Memorandum of Understanding between Children and Family Services, Department of Behavioral Health and Inland Counties Regional Center, to collaborate on services for children, non-minor dependents, and families with developmental disabilities for the period of October 7, 2020 through April 30, 2025.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
The recommended Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is non-financial; therefore, it does not impact Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost).

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Under the terms of the recommended MOU, Children and Family Services (CFS) and the Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) will collaborate with the Inland Counties Regional Center (IRC) to meet the service needs of children, non-minor dependents, and families. The collaboration will help identify and close gaps to avoid duplication in the service plans of the clients served by these agencies.

CFS protects endangered children, preserves and strengthens their families, and develops alternative family settings. Services, as mandated by law and regulations, are provided in the least intrusive manner with a family-centered focus. This mission is accomplished by working with the family, a wide variety of public and private agencies, and members of the community.
