Grant Award Agreement for 2021 State Emergency Solutions Grant Coronavirus Round 1 Funding

RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
1. Accept and approve Emergency Solutions Grant Coronavirus Standard Agreement No. ESG-CV1-00038 with the State of California Department of Housing and Community Development in the amount of $1,246,600 to fund emergency shelter, rapid rehousing, and homelessness prevention services resulting from the Coronavirus pandemic.
2. Authorize the Chief Executive Officer to submit grant documents and execute any subsequent non-substantive amendments in relation to this grant award agreement, subject to review by County Counsel.
3. Direct the Chair of the Board of Supervisors or Chief Executive Officer or the Director of Community Development and Housing Department to transmit all documents and amendments in relation to this grant award to the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors within 30 days of execution.

Adequate appropriation and revenue have been included in the Community Development and Housing (CDH) 2020-21 Departmental budget (Cost Center: 6210002483); there is no match requirement for this funding.
