RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
1. Approve Grant Subaward (Cal OES Subaward #UV20 05 0360) with the California Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) in the amount of $285,066, which includes grant funds of $228,052 plus a local match of $57,014, for the San Bernardino County Unserved/Underserved Victim Advocacy and Outreach Program for the period of January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021.
2. Adopt Resolution approving the Grant Subaward Agreement and authorizing the District Attorney, as required by Cal OES, to sign and submit the Grant Subaward Agreement on behalf of the Board of Supervisors, and any subsequent non-substantive amendments, subject to review by County Counsel.
3. Authorize the Chief of Bureau of Administration and Chief of Victim Services to sign and submit monthly invoices as required by Cal OES for this grant.
4. Direct the District Attorney to transmit all Grant Award Agreement documents, including any non-substantive amendments, to the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors within 30 days of execution.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
This item will not result in the use of additional Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The Unserved/Underserved Victim Advocacy and Outreach Program (Program) grant award in the amount of $228,052 from Cal OES will be used to offset the cost of two existing Victim Advocate II positions and one Victim Advocate I position.
