Recommendation
Approve Amendment No. 2 to non-financial Foundation Agreement No. 17-905, with CA Technologies, adding an audit report clause, with no change to the agreement period of December 21, 2017 through December 20, 2022.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this amendment will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). This agreement is non-financial in nature and does not commit the County to make any purchases. If future purchases are made under this agreement, the Innovation and Technology Department (ITD) will adhere to County purchasing policies and return to the Board for approval, if necessary. The cost for maintenance and support of CA Technologies software is included in the ITD Computer Operations 2020-21 Adopted Budget and will be included in future recommended budgets. Operating costs are recovered via service rates approved annually by the Board of Supervisors (Board).

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
On December 19, 2017 (Item No. 25), the Board approved non-financial Foundation Agreement No. 17-905 with CA Technologies that included terms and conditions to govern the purchase of software licenses, support, and professional services purchased directly from CA Technologies.
