RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Acting as the governing body of the San Bernardino County Fire Protection District, adopt ordinance, which was introduced on March 23, 2021 (Item No. 86), relating to the repealing of Ordinance No. FPD 20-02 and establishing various fees for 2021-22.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of additional Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). San Bernardino County Fire Protection District (SBCFPD) fees included in this ordinance are projected to generate revenue of approximately $13.5 million in 2021-22 for the cost of providing services. This amount does not include revenue from ambulance operations as the fees for those services are established and approved by the Inland Counties Emergency Medical Agency (ICEMA). Appropriation and revenue related to the fees will be included in the 2021-22 Recommended Budget for SBCFPD.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The ordinance relating to the 2021-22 fees for SBCFPD was introduced on March 23, 2021 (Item No. 86). The recommendation before the Board of Directors is to adopt the ordinance on the Consent Calendar.
