RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
1. Approve Cooperative Agreement between the County of San Bernardino and the City of Redlands for the Garnet Street and Other Roads project on Garnet Street, Florida Street, and Greenspot Road in the Mentone area.
2. Adopt Resolution determining that there is a general County of San Bernardino interest in providing County of San Bernardino funds, in the estimated amount of $6,000, for pavement improvements on the City of Redland's portion of the Garnet Street and Other Roads project on Garnet Street, Florida Street, and Greenspot Road in the Mentone area pursuant to Streets and Highways Code section 1680 (Four votes required).

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The Department of Public Works (Department) is funded by Gas Tax revenue, fee revenue, and other state and local funding. The Garnet Street and Other Roads project on Garnet Street, Florida Street, and Greenspot Road in the Mentone area (Project) will be funded with Senate Bill 1 Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Account (RMRA) funds. The Project is included in the RMRA project list for 2020-21, as approved by the Board of Supervisors (Board) on April 21, 2020 (Item No. 45). Sufficient appropriation and revenue are included in the 2020-21 Road Operations budget (6650002000 34H15015).
