Approve Revenue Agreement with the California Department of Food and Agriculture (State Agreement No. 21-0179-000-SA) for the Department of Agriculture/Weights & Measures to perform inspections for the Certified Farmers Market Inspections Program, from July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022 for a maximum reimbursement of $7,800.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
This item will not result in the use of any Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The revenue agreement specifies a term from July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022, for a maximum reimbursement of $7,800. Sufficient appropriation and revenue have been included in the Department of Agriculture/Weights & Measures (AWM) 2021-22 budget. Services per the revenue agreement will be fulfilled by the existing AWM staff.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
This revenue agreement with the California Department of Food and Agriculture, Inspection Services/Inspection and Compliance Branch (CDFA, Inspection & Compliance) will reimburse AWM for performing inspection and enforcement services related to the Certified Farmers Market (CFM) Program for a maximum reimbursement of $7,800, from July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022.
