RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Approve Amendment No. 2, effective November 16, 2021, to the following contracts to provide medical care and support services under the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Part A HIV Emergency Relief Grant Program, adjusting the Budget and Scope of Work, with no change to the total contract amount of $2,459,340, for the contract period of March 1, 2021 through February 29, 2024:
1. Borrego Community Health Foundation, Contract No. 20-1179, decreasing the amount by $100,000, from $1,459,629 to $1,359,629.
2. SAC Health System, Contract No. 20-1183, increasing the amount by $100,000, from $999,711 to $1,099,711.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
This item does not impact Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The total combined amount of $2,459,340 for the medical care and support services provided by the contracts in the Recommendations remains the same as the $100,000 will be reallocated from Borrego Community Health Foundation's (Borrego) contract to SAC Health System's (SACHS) contract in order to optimize program funding. The Ryan White HIV/AIDS Part A HIV Emergency Relief Grant Program (Ryan White Part A Program) is funded by the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).
