Recommendation
Adopt Resolution to accept roads located within the boundary of Tract Nos. 15900, 16845, 16845-1, 16845-2, 16845-5, 16978, 16978-3, 16978-4, 16978-5, 18039, 16977-2, 16977-3, 17771-2 and 19937 in the Lytle Creek area, into the County Maintained Road System pursuant to Streets and Highways Code section 941.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). Minor administrative costs associated with updating the Department of Public Works (Department) records, as well as future maintenance costs associated with accepting the roads into the County Maintained Road System (CMRS) will be funded by Gas Tax revenue. Sufficient appropriation is available in the Department's 2021-22 Road Operations budget.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Pursuant to Streets and Highways Code section 941, the Board of Supervisors (Board) may accept into the CMRS roads that are necessary to public convenience. The Department has reviewed the roads located within the boundary of the Tract Nos. 15900, 16845, 16845-1, 16845-2, 16845-5, 16978, 16978-3, 16978-4, 16978-5, 18039, 16977-2, 16977-3, 17771-2 and 19937 (Tracts), within Rosena Ranch in the Lytle Creek area, and has determined that they are necessary to public convenience. Accepting these roads into the CMRS will ensure the appropriate infrastructure needed to support the existing land use is maintained.
