California Environmental Quality Act Finding for the El Rivino Road and Agua Mansa Road Project in the Bloomington Area

RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
1. Find that the El Rivino Road and Agua Mansa Road Project in the Bloomington area is exempt under the California Environmental Quality Act Guidelines, Title 14 of the California Code of Regulations Section 15301(c) Class 1 (existing facilities) and Section 15302(c) Class 2 (replacement or reconstruction).
2. Approve the El Rivino Road and Agua Mansa Road Project in the Bloomington area as defined in the Notice of Exemption.
3. Direct the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors to file and post the Notice of Exemption.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of additional Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The El Rivino Road and Agua Mansa Road Project in the Bloomington area (Project) will be funded with Discretionary General Funding allocated for the Department of Public Works (Department) annual Maintenance of Effort and Senate Bill 1 (SB1) Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Account (RMRA) funds. Sufficient appropriation and revenue are included in the Department's 2022-23 Road Operations budget (66500002000 14H15166) and will be included in future recommended budgets.
