Recommendation
Approve contract with Michael Baker International to provide professional engineering and environmental services for design of the Lake Gregory Regional Park Sitewide Sediment Management Project, in the amount of $463,204, with a contract term of May 23, 2023, to December 31, 2026.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). As approved by the Board of Supervisors (Board) on October 25, 2022 (Item No. 82), an allocation from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Local Fiscal Recovery Fund (Recovery Fund) will be utilized to fund eligible costs of the Lake Gregory Regional Park Sitewide Sediment Management Project (Project). These costs include the contract with Michael Baker International (MBI) in the amount of $463,204 and the Project's future construction. The Department of Public Works - Special Districts (Department) has sufficient appropriation available in its 2022-23 operating budget (County Service Area 70 - Countywide) for the current year costs of this contract with MBI. Sufficient appropriation will be included in future recommended budgets as needed.
