RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Approve Amendment 1, effective July 1, 2020, to the following contracts for the provision of Substance Use Disorder Services California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids Life Skills program, increasing the total contract amount by $558,152, from $2,232,609 to $2,790,761, and extend the contracts from July 1, 2020 to March 31, 2021, for the total contract period of July 1, 2017 through March 31, 2021:
1. Inland Valley Drug and Alcohol Recovery Services, Inc., Contract No. 17-422, increasing the total contract amount by $226,278, from $905,112 to $1,131,390.
2. Mental Health Systems, Inc., Contract No. 17-423, increasing the total contract amount by $141,272, from $565,089 to $706,361.
3. St. John of God Health Care Services, Contract No. 17-424, increasing the total contract amount by $190,602, from $762,408 to $953,010.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
This item does not impact Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The increase in the amount of $558,152 for Substance Use Disorders Services (SUD) California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids (CalWORKs) Life Skills program is 100% funded by the CalWORKs program through the Transitional Assistance Department. Adequate appropriation and revenue will be included in the Department of Behavioral Health's (DBH) 2020-21 recommended budget.
