Recommendation
Approve Amendment No. 2 to Agreement No. 18-159, Memorandum of Understanding with Riverside County for the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act Inland Empire Regional Planning Unit to include one additional California Workforce Development Board grant award in the amount of $400,000, and extend the original term by three months from April 3, 2018 to September 30, 2021.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The Inland Empire Regional Planning Unit (IERPU) Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) (Agreement No. 18-159) between Riverside County and San Bernardino County provides the administrative framework for the expenditure of Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) grant funds and does not obligate either county to expend additional funds. Amendment No. 2 will allow the IERPU MOU to include one additional grant totaling $400,000. The MOU will allow San Bernardino County to share their Regional Planning Implementation 3.0 grant award in the amount of $400,000 with Riverside County.
